Managed Operations

We run it after we build it.

Building the system and abandoning it is how outages become your problem at 2 a.m. Under a standing agreement we own patching, backups, monitoring, access and on-call — with a named escalation path.

Who this is for

  • Companies running production on Google Cloud or Linux without a team to own it
  • Teams whose engineers are carrying the pager instead of building
  • Businesses that want response times in a contract, not in a chat thread

Not for

  • Desktop and end-user support
  • Systems nobody is allowed to document or change

What we deliver

  1. Linux and server administration

Patch cadence, configuration baseline, and capacity notes kept current. Servers that are known, not discovered during an incident.

    OutputInventory and hardening baseline.

  2. Google Cloud and Workspace administration

Projects, users, policies, and billing kept current. Access is reviewed on a schedule, not when someone asks.

    OutputQuarterly access review.

  3. Patching, backups and disaster recovery

Updates applied, backups tested, recovery rehearsed. The measure is the last successful restore, not a checkbox.

OutputThe date of the last successful restore — not a checkbox.

  4. Monitoring and on-call response

Someone watching, someone answering. A runbook, a severity matrix, and response times you can print.

OutputRunbook, severity matrix and response times you can print.

  5. Identity and access management

The right people with the right access, and nothing left behind when they leave. A joiner, mover, leaver process that is actually run.

How an engagement runs

  1. Onboard

We inventory what runs, who has access and what breaks. You get the written picture before we take anything over.

  2. Baseline

Patching, backups, monitoring and access brought to the standard in the agreement, with the gaps listed and dated.

  3. Operate

Someone watching, someone answering, changes logged, restores tested.

  4. Review

A monthly operations review: incidents, changes, costs, and what we are fixing next.

The operating agreement

  • Coverage: business hours or 24/7, as agreed
  • Severity 1: response times are in the agreement, not in Slack
  • Reporting: monthly operations review
  • Included: patching, backups, monitoring, access changes
  • Not included: new product features — that is Engineering

What you receive

  • Asset inventory
  • Hardening baseline
  • Runbook and severity matrix
  • Quarterly access review
  • Monthly operations report
